POLICY
The
Montana Companies will conduct business in an environmentally
responsible manner. Compliance with the Montana Companies Environmental
Policy is the responsibility of all employees.
The
corporate environmental policy is to:
- Define potential impacts to the environment and
identify applicable environmental regulations;
- Comply with all applicable environmental
legislation and seek opportunities to exceed the regulatory requirements
through the implementation of industry best practices;
- Seek to prevent pollution at its source;
- Ensure that employees and contractors are aware
of their environmental responsibilities;
- Optimize our use of resources through efficiency
gains and recycling;
- Measure environmental performance and set goals
for improvement; and
- Be good neighbors and communicate our
environmental performance to the communities in which we operate.
