Welcome to LS Jensen Construction and Ready Mix
LS Jensen Construction & Ready Mix is an integrated construction materials and services business in Missoula and the Western Montana area. We produce quality sand and gravel products, ready mix concrete and plant-mix asphalt, which are available to general contractors and homeowners alike. In addition we are a full service site-work contractor. Our construction crews complete excavation, grading, paving and utility work year-round.
Established in 1935, founder Lawrence Jensen moved houses, hauled coal and did local excavation jobs. His sons, George and Bob bought the company in 1975. The company grew through its utility business necessitating entry into the crushing business in 1980 and production of asphalt in 1986. LS Jensen expanded into the highway paving business in 1994. In April of 2000, the Jensen brothers sold their growing business to Oldcastle Materials Group.
Ready Mix operations started up in the spring of 2001 and have been a successful addition to our company. Today we are a proud member of Oldcastle Materials Group.
